I did forget something... the wallet... I had it between myself and the two large Olan Mills Portraits... one of envelopes contained 50 cards and the other a frame... they were atleast 11x14 in size... the wallet as I wrote in my first post I was holding infront of me along with the envelopes.. as someone holds books at school... the bracelets were what I mistakenly picked up with my keys and shoved in my side pocket.. it is a pocket that doesn't even hold my keys totally they hang out.. so it wouldn't even be a good place to put something to hide in order to steal it.....

I forgot I had the freaking wallet... I was in such a hurry and so distracted in my mind with other things... I guess when I put the other things back my hands were empty aside from the envelopes and since the wallet was pretty light and in a thin cardboard box that I didn't realize it....

whatever... it is what it is...

Obviously this is such a big deal that irregardless I will be guilty... I might as well try to enjoy my weekend with my family and deal with finding an atty on Monday...

People are so quick to judge... that is pretty depressing!

Look, it's not our problem that your story sounds like that of a million or so people who were actually shoplifting, or that you are expecting people to believe that you "accidentally" removed merchandise from a store in two different ways on the same date. Those are the facts you gave us, so I don't quite understand why you are complaining that you are getting an accurate, realistic assessment of their implications.

If you do a search of these forums you will see how many people tell a story exactly like yours, right down to the problems at home. Now Imagine how someone in LP feels when they hear that same story 40 times a day. You got caught, if it was truly an accident I'm sorry, you'll have your day in court to discuss it. But it doesn't make the store stupid because they employee LP to watch and protect their store, it doesn't make the LP stupid because he did what he is paid to do and if he doesn't would be jobless.

Nothing anyone here was false, and no one here was judging. THe facts are what the facts are, you walked out with merchandise and before you realized it the store's LP did. It's unfortunate, but it happened. Your life isn't anymore hectic than anyone else's so I don't think that would make as a good defense, but you're welcome to try it.
You were rushed and overwhelmed, take this experience as crappy as it may be as a lesson to calm down and clear your mind next time. When you walk into a store, put the keys in right away, reduces the chance to get something mixed up. Purchase what you want before you go to a different department to pick up photos. Learn from this but don't bash the people that are trying to help you, and don't bash the store that is just protecting themselves.
