I am a moderator on a game forum
It has become a community in which people can sell their ingame items for money. There is a high risk in doing so, and many people get scammed for real money. The scammers usually reveal personal information to whoever they scam, and take advantage of others. My job on that forum is to compile as much information I can find about the scammer and put it on the Hall of Shame. Hundreds of scams have taken place on my forum, and many by the same people.
My question is: Will I be held accountable if someone uses the information that I compile to protect members of my forum from dealing with people who have been proven to be scammers? All of the information I get is through my investigating work on the forum by reading old posts and questioning victims of these scams.
