My question involves a condominium located in the State of: Florida

My condo assoc is trying to sue me for back homeowner fees vs just putting a lien on the property. Should I get a lawyer for this suit? I owe the money but they want it all and will not do a payment plan. I am current on my mortgage but I am upside down on the unit. I have other properties and if they get a judgement will it effect these other properties?
