My question involves real estate located in the State of: Pennsylvania
My neighbor planted a dozen of Maple & other deciduous trees close to or on my property line, meaning 1 is on my property, & 9 are hanging over by at least 5 feet.
The problem is they are interfering with my Sky Rocket Cedars all of which I have planted 6 feet from the property line in question. I no longer can mulch or maintain my own trees without his trees dangling in my face.
I have asked him to get them off my land, but he claims it is my responsibility to clear them, he is challenging me to do this for some reason? I no longer want his trees on my property, however what is the law? if I pay someone to do this, yearly, do I have any recourse? I dont want t o be paying yearly to remove his branches.
When I confronted him 5-6 years ago he said he didn't think I would mind him using the land?
What are my rights to have the trees trimmed and or removed?
