    Default Shoplifting And US Visa

    My question involves criminal law for the state of:

    Dear Sir/ Madam.
    I was aressted for shoplifting 2 years , it was my first offense i stole 15 items and charged with 5 offenses it was my first and last crime,and got one conviction and I did not serve any time in prison, and was given a conditional discharge, please advice me if i qualify to get a US visa.As i live in UK

    Laws are different in each state and country, and you didn't bother to tell us the location of your crime spree. A criminal record can interfere with your eligibility to enter the U.S. - apply for a visa and see what happens.
