    Lightbulb Being Sued

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of:Connecticut

Some of this might sound strange but it's the truth.

I have been on Social Security Disability since 1975.

Did I have debts or do I ?? yes

I never got sued because I really have had nothing.

As of now a famous 'junk collector' is taking a 5 and half year old alleged debt and getting a judgement on me. (via a lawyer in this state)

Like lightning. I did not even know I was on court docket till today.

This is serious 'take all his social security funds'..who cares....

I'm just too ill to keep up. I'm in extreme pain and can hardly get out of bed.

I honestly have nothing except social security and if anything 'extra' it came from social security. (I'm on Title 2..no asset limit)

Half my check goes for medicines.

    Can somebody help me ??

It looks like the lawyers office even paid for a jury. (small claims court ??)

o--a jury that knows nothing about LAW ??

    I'm beat. I can't deal with this.

Now I see forms where I'm supposed to fill in all my assets and location of all/any bank accounts. Do all states force this ?? I'm sorry. If I have $27 of left over social security money I'm supposed to by law tell everybody where ??

NO-NOT PROUD OF DEBTS BUT I ONLY ONE ?? This involves Exxon-Mobil.

Any help here in Connecticut ?

Social security is exempt from seizure. However, you will have to let the court & the lawyer know that your only income is social security disability. When you fill out the asset form, indicate that your income is social security & that you have no other income or assets.

    It sounds sweet but....

This law firm is #1 in New England area in going after debts and they know I'm on Social Security Disability.

The place I'm living now is almost over so any money saved for next living situation is attachable ?? (still all ss money)

I have no legal help here. Legal Aid is a total joke that has 'advocates' that seldom speak English (no offense) and know nothing about laws. They tell you a different story every time. Yesterday I had no pending suit. (It's been there a long time) Today if I have over $1000 it's attachable. My ss check is $913 a month.

I would feel more guilty if a debt was recent but almost 6 years ago or more if they cooked the records ?? Oil company. I don't know how anybody is going to pay oil bills around these parts upcoming. (cold winters)
