    Default Passing Livescan

My question involves a background check in the State of: california

I just had to do a livescan for a IT Position

I had a Grand Theft Charge with use of a computer back in 99

Basically i held fake auctions and people sent me money (bad gambling problem blah blah)

The company installs alarms so I have to get an Alarm Agent License so they have to run this for everyone in the company.

Do I have a chance in hell of passing this?

I also had a DUI back in Oct 2006 that was reduced to wet wreckless driving
    (.08 lucky me)

    thanks

No one here can possibly answer that. All background checks are not created equal and the employer makes the decision with a third party vendor on how far they believe they need to go back on those checks. The employer will than decide on what they consider to be too risky to hire.

Well there is the "Alarm Agent" license that is required so I thought maybe
    something would disqualify from that.

If you history shows up (probably will), they might deny you the license & deny employment. It would be up to the individual employer to make a decision.

You need to get that record expunged or sealed since quite a few years have passed......... get a criminal lawyer and get that off your record
