    Default What is emancipation?

    I was just wanting to know what exactly is emancipation laws....what does the word mean?

    Default Emancipation

    It depends upon state law. In general terms, it means that a minor is freed from the control of his or her parents, and is able to enter into contracts in the capacity of an adult.
