I have a piece of property that sits above a stream/pond. The riparian strip is located between me and the "ordinary or average high water mark," the "bank" of the stream. The City "redevelopement" owns the strip. however, I was on the end of the properties that even partially used the strip. The property to one side of me, was totally impenetrable growth. Now, the people in the apt. one house over, have torn down their fence, tore up all the overgrowth, and are trapsing back and forth acrossed "my" easement, including standing on the area where I go back and forth to the water, etc. Can I block their egress (their establishment of an easement, crisscrossing acrossed this easement of my own? This is Utah Law, and Salt Lake County.
