A Bit Worried About What's Going To Happen

My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
i was caught shoplifting a shirt at macys yesterday it was about $35 dollars the lp stoped me as i exited and took me to the back i signed a paper because the shirt was in my purse and agreed to pay the civil demand thing. i also bought the shirt. it was stupid on my part i dono why i did it im kicking myself now
they let me go and said that they are not going press charges but that they could change their minds within 45 days. they thing im woried about is that i used to work for macys and i left the company because i was accused of stealing money that was over a year ago no action was taken nothing hapened and my files should have been cleared. but they said i could not work for the company again . but yesterday the lp people asked me about it im 19 now but i wasnt even 18 when i was working for the store, should i be concerned about this. im worried about what is going to happen and im very scared i need advice what should i do

What is it your worried about? the past accusation? If they havent filed charges by now it doubtful they will

There is nothing you can do, but wait and see if they do report it to the police.

They say that they probably won't involve the police. You most likely will receive a civil fine from them, so other than that, worrying about what they might do, isn't going to do you any good.

I am so sorry but the expertlaw crystal is out for recalibration so we cannot predict Macy's decision at this time. Ok kidding aside we cannot say what Macy's will do.
