    Default Tubal Ligation Failed

My question involves medical malpractice in the state of: FL
I had a double tubal ligation done approx 18 months ago and found out earlier this year that it failed and I am now pregnant. Pathology report says that they cut and removed the correct tissue. This procedure is 99.9% effective and I remember signing a waiver saying so. Any recourse???

Two to 10 out of 1000 tubal ligations fail. Failure can occur years from the surgery. I'm sure it was outlined in the informed consent you signed.

I trust you've had an ultrasound to confirm a uterine pregnancy?
