    Default Marriage Fraud

My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: florida and new york
i have a relative who was left money in a trust with her father as the trustee until she is 25 or marries. she resides in FL but went to NY with her gay male friend and married. the father is accusing her now of marriage fraud. is it and if so what legal ramifications can she suffer if her father pursues this?

    Default Re: Marriage Fraud

What would make that "marriage fraud"? If the trustee won't abide by the terms of the trust, she can petition a probate court to force him to do so or to replace him.

But perhaps she could consider an end to the games, getting her marriage annulled, and marrying... you know, somebody she actually cares about.
