    Default Deposit Reimbursement

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: CA

My roommate is scheduled to be out by June 12th. She has been told - in writing-that she has to pay rent for the days she is here in June.

If she fails to pay June's rent (however many days), do I need to do anything more than attach an itemized receipt showing the rent deduction with what's left of her deposit reimbursement check? This is assuming she moves out on time.

Thank you in advance for your assistance. I really appreciate it.

Nope. A properly itemized list is fine.
