Default 30 Day Moveout Requirement In Michigan

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Michigan

My question is this, if my lease is expired as of the end of May am I required to give 30 day written notice of moving out? Since the lease expired I will be considered month to month. Here is what the lease states, I've read it both ways so I'm unsure. I've also read in other states month to month you're still required to give 30 days. I've had issues with the noise, and other tenants and the management refuses to act, so I decided my lease is up I want out. I'm tired of not sleeping and their refusal to uphold the lease when others break it, because they're "friends". Thank you for your help.

Thats what I thought. I was hoping I didn't, but I figured I would. Had the noise not been so bad, and they had done something about it I would have signed another year lease. Thanks!
