Default Can I Claim Abandoned Property For Payment Of Debt?

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: FL
I have two travel trailers that have been abandoned for 2+ years in spite of multiple attempts to have them removed by the out of state owner. He owes me >3grand for rental of land and has no intention of paying. Can I take the trailers and dispose or try to collect some of the money he owes me? They are being vandalized currently.

My suggestion would be that you first obtain a judgment against him. (Small Claims Court)

Then read "How To Collect a Judgment In Florida".
