Default Removing Bankruptcy from Credit Report

You mean, can you make it so that a credit report does not accurately reflect an actual bankruptcy?

    Default bankruptcy

no not so it can't show up......is there away to get it cleared i see so many adds that they can do that.......also his ex is filling again and using her married name will this reflect on his report due to she went back to using her married name to do the bankruptcy then she said she will change her name back to her maiden name........will this reflect his credit due to when he was married to her she filed and its on his credit as well as hers......

I have excellent credit and any loans or buying a home reflects on my credit due to his ex and her doings..seems that if someone files that way why should the other be having it on their credit........

it doesn't reflect mine but his so when she files again as she told him she is will it be on his credit even tho hes been divorced for several years when she files under her old married name???????????

    thanks for responding

    Default Bankruptcy Question

Can you please try to state, simply and clearly, what your question is? I may be a bit slow today, but I can't figure out what you are trying to ask.

There are two questions I am asking first is........my new husbands ex is filling banruptcy and shes using her old married name to do this..she was using her maiden name however his daughter informed him that her mom is filling again and is using his last name.......

second question is simply that there are some that claim they can have it removed from your credit report is this a fact or just a wash.......his ex filled several years ago I'm thinking 8 years ago which showed up in his report as well due to they where married then yet not living as such just in same house.......is this fact or fiction that they can clean this off ones credit report???????

thanks so much for helping sorry if I seem confused on this matter it's only cause I am this is all new to me.....

    my email is

some times it may be days when I return to this just in case you have something that may help me I do read my mail daily....thanks

    Default Bankruptcy Filing

He has no control over what surname his ex-wife uses. If he believes she is trying to defraud the bankruptcy court by using more than one surname, he should consult a local bankruptcy lawyer about the case or attempt to discuss it with her trustee in bankruptcy.

I have no idea what you are trying to ask, in relation to credit reports. Eight-year-old information would normally drop off due to its age alone.

If English is not your primary language, perhaps you can get somebody to help you phrase your questions.

For your second question I think I understand what you are asking and the answer is no. These so called "credit repair" companies are mostly a scam. The exception to this are those that are government approved non-profit agencies. Most scam companies will try to get you to change some of your information or file for a new SS card, all of which is illegal and fraudulent. But a debt that old should fall off of your record, but more recent debts may NOT be cleared by such companies.
