    Default Can I Add New Debts To An Existing Bankruptcy

    My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Maryland I'm currently in a chapter 13 am I able to amend my bankruptcy and add debts incurred after my confirmation?

    You're not supposed to incur any add'l. debt while in chapter 13 w/o first consulting the trustee. Did you? The implications vary depending on what the debt was for: (ie nonemergencies, emergencies, income taxes, etc.)

    You need to talk to your bankruptcy attorney about this add'l. debt as soon as possible to determine what can be done.
