My question involves a background check in the State of: California
So I was under the impression that only law enforcement jobs and teaching jobs required an employee to get a livescan, but found out today that many other jobs might also require you to get one. Anyone know if hospital jobs would require a livescan? Currently I have two charges on my record, one was dismissed and the other is in the process of being expunged. But I know that these will still show up on a livescan. Would sealing these records remove them from my livescan report?
