    Default Credit Card Fraud

My question involves criminal law for the state of: illinois
i am getting 3rd bill(3 different banks) from my credit card companys with total charges of close to $19k , most of the charges were made using convenience checks (which were stolen or lost or any other way they can get in the bad hands) , i never wrote down these checks - i guess it is called fraud.what is going to happend next , do i have to pay all these charges if the thief will not be caught ... asking cause i never had this situation and do not know how to behaviour myself , i am so shocked , pissed off , stressed....?!?!?!?!?

Have you disputed the charges in writing with your card issuer?

Did you report the convenience checks stolen?
