My question involves a careless driving ticket from the State of: Minnesota
Ok, I'm age 16. I got two tickets today, making it my third in under a year. I got one six months ago, a simple speeding citation. The two today I acquired was a "failure to stop at a stop sign" and a "careless driving ticket". I go to court in a couple of weeks. First, could I get my license taken away? Second, I know the stop sign one is $132, but I couldn't find how much the careless driving ticket was, I was wondering if the fine was set by the judge?
Is the careless driving a misdemeanor? If it is, can I get that reduced to a citation if a try too?
I don't dispute I did any of this also, I know I'm a bad driver it just caught up to me. Just sucks because I have a minimum wage job and am going to college in the fall. So I would like to keep my license and get the smallest fine I can.
Thanks in advance for answers!
