Default Suing Versus Informing The Media

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Nevada

I am currently trying to fight two suspensions. I see, while searching the internet, that people are spending a lot of money trying to sue the post office. I really don't think that these $4000 lawyers (no offense to them) are any match to the million dollar lawyers that the post office has. I am a strong believer in the power of the media. I think that we should go to the media, or even to our senators and go on a different path that would make it possible to sue the post office.

If there is anyone that works for any media outlet (newspaper, TV news, etc.) and let me know what the ramifications of this would be, if any.

    Thank you.

The Postal Service doesn't have million dollar lawyers. Most of the lawyers who represent the Postal Service, are like you, employees of the Postal Service.

I don't think you will have much luck with, or sympathy from, the media or Congress. The general sentiment about postal workers is that they have too many employment rights and the Postal Service is lax or ineffective in disciplining its employees.

The problem with going to the media is that they don't always take the spin that you want them to or think they should. And once you open that can of worms, you can't get the worms back in the can if public sentiment goes against you (which, considering the reputation of the postal service and its workers with the general public, is a decided possibility).

The thing is we don't know/can't know ahead of time what all the *possible* ramifications might be.
