My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: California

My husband and I filed bankruptcy in Jan 08 and are surrending our home as part of the proceedings. Our 1st mortgage filed a Relief from Stay motion with a court date of 5/8/08. Our 2nd mortgage filed a Relief from Stay motion with a court date of 5/28/08. We already received our notice of discharge, also dated 5/8/08.

My question is how long (estimated) do we have before we need to move out? I called the lender and all they could tell me was that they haven't finished processing our bankruptcy matter and to call back in a week or two and MAYBE they'll have a sale date for us. She couldn't give me an estimate on how far out sale dates are being set. Our lawyer said we still have 2 months, if not more.

Is anyone else in this same boat? Does anyone know how long California lenders are taking to proceed with foreclosures after a Chapter 7 discharge?
