My question involves a child custody case from the State of: PA
I'll try to make this short. My mom is a crack addict. When my brother Jim was about 6 his father Dan got custody because my mom Pat didn't show to the hearing. Dan is an alcholic but he took care of my brother better then my mom. I have been trying to get gardianship of my brother for over five years. Finally two years ago Dan let him come live with me and we have a notarized paper work that he is to live with me. My mom has never paid child support for my brother. There is a court order for it. Dan does not pay anything to me for support.
Now Dan received notice that my mom have been excepted for SSI and now there is a hearing for support. My brother has not seen my mom in all this time. She has never called no contact in all this time. He doesn't want to see her. My question is will the courts give her visitation?
