Help Me Get Emancipated

I need help, I can't take this anymore. My friend and I are wanting to get emancipated, we are both 15 and can't stand it at home. My mother commited suicide when I was 12, and my dad is semi-abusive. He has this metal broomstick that he hits us on the head with, Ive even been choke slammed on the porch twice. My step mother is sick and all she does is yell and sream at us, I can't stand it here anymore. My friend's parents are just as bad as mine, if not worse. He even gets into fist fights with his dad! Would it be possible for the government to allow us to rent an apartment together? I would more than willing to get a job, so would my friend, to support myself. I do quite well in school, Im a freshman in high school, nothing less than a C.

Would renting an apartment be possible? As long as I stayed out of trouble and kept my grades up? I can't stand it at home, whenever I try to talk to my dad about my problems, he never listens. Im never aloud to do anything! Sure I might be able to go to a football game or two ever now and then, but that's about it! I HATE IT! I don't even get to listen to the music I want, or wear the clothes I want...Im 15 years old for god sake. My parents keep forcing christianity on me also, I dont belive in god but the refuse to accept that...Im the only one that ever does any work around my house, I have 2 younger siblings and a step sister the same age as I am. My younger brother is "Daddy's lil boy" and my sister is just a brat. My step sister is a spoiled, stuck up, mommy's girl. She doesn't have any chores. I do it all. :x I wrote my dad an email one time explaining how I felt, then he said If I didn't like it, then I could leave. But I have no where to go This is where I have turned to...Can someone please help me? My email is:

Tennessee has no emancipation statute. Perhaps you should discuss your options with a guidance counselor at school.
