I need emancipation

Im 17 just recently turned 17, my mom is not well and my dad wants me to live a shelterd life style , yes he is a good father but he makes me stay in all the time or if i do get to go out i cant leave till after we eat and have to be in at 11 im 17 shouldt i have some more freedom, my boyfriend has just left for the navy . If i were to get emancipted i would have somehwere to stay. The reason I want to me emancipated is becuase I just cant get along with my family its aways yelling and more yelling and im alwyas in trouble for something and im very well behaved child i make decent grades im in the nursing progam at my school im doing farley well and I cant live in a enviorment were its all yelling and no one gets along its not very healthy . I was wondering how hard it would be and if i have a good shot at it I live in the state if Tennessee

Tennessee does not have an emancipation statute.

Given your age, if you move out into an appropriate environment, the courts and police may be unwilling to try to force you to return home. You may wish to check with your local police department to see what their policies are, in relation to a 17-year-old who moves out against her parents' wishes.
