I signed an employment contract that states:
The employment will begin on _ January 1, 2008 _ and end on January 1, 2009 unless terminated sooner as specified in this contract.
Under "termination" in the contract it says:
If Employee does not satisfactorily perform the job duties described in paragraph 2 of this contract or substantially violates Employer's policies as set forth in its employee handbook, Employer may terminate Employee's employment.
But it says nothing about how to quit. Can I quit now? Will they be able to sue me for breach of contract?
