Default Partial Payments-Can A Lender Still Repossess?

My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: California

If a buyer is unable to pay the full car payment, can a lender still repossess the vehicle if the buyer is making an effort by paying partial payments?

Yes, they can. They can require & expect the full payment amount agreed upon.

    Thank you for your reply.

By the way...I love hockey too. I'm a Stockton Thunder season ticket holder.
