My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Hawaii
I am an american citizen and reside in the state of Hawaii.
For the past four years, I have been working for a financial institution in Tokyo, Japan. I was let go without reason. I developed some trading and maketing models myself while at the firm. Is it legal to sell them or simply give them away? Will I be sued or prosecuted? If so, by whom? I understand that Japanese law has no purchase in the US? I signed no confidential non compete agreement with my ex employer.
