My question involves criminal law for the state of: texas
my friend is 14 and he delivered marijuana to his friend in school. hes friend was caught and told the police that my friend was the person who gave him the marijuana, my friend confesed and said that he had only delivered the marijuana and he didnt sell it to the kid. my friend was taken to juvenile, the lawyer told his mom that some goverment establishment might press charges. what is the maximum sentence he could get for delivering marijuana at school in the state of texas. he has a clean record.

He's a juvenile, so regular "maximums" don't apply - if adjudicated, the "maximum" he could receive is being made a ward of the court and potentially held in detention until he's an adult.
