My question involves an eviction in the state of: california
I have lived in my apartment for 2 yrs at the end of this month...does my landlord have to give me a 30 day notice or a 60 day notice ? He gave me a "Notice of OFFER to vacate" last week and now today he gave me a "Notice to quit" and dated it for termination on June 15th, 2008 with a amount of $787.50 to pay him to stay the 15 days of June since my rent is now payed up till June 1st.....also the reason he is termination our contract (month to month) is because he says that my son and my grandson are over to much and that my son is living with me or that it looks as if he is.....he is not living with me and comes over and brings my grandson with him to visit me...he does not like my son because of the way he dresses and looks and has told me that, I know he can make me move out but that isn't a proper reason.
