    Default Civil Fine Laws In Arizona

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arizona

    does anyone know the laws about civil fines in Arizona? i was caught shoplifting items just under $20. i was never given a court date or a ticket. but someone here told me to expect a civil fine. do you have to sign anything for the store to be able to send you a civil fine? i never signed anything, and i'm allowed to return and shop at the store.

    If they took down your name and address, you should expect a civil demand letter. This will be for several hundred dollars.
