My question involves police conduct in the State of: NC
I was just wrote-up for six tickets! The most serious charge is a DUI. This is my 2nd one.
Another ticket, the officer charged me with "failure to follow license restrictions." The restriction was that I couldn't drive with a bac of .04 or more. However this restriction expired last year. The expiration was clearly marked on my license.
I protested the charge and pointed out the expiration, but the cop said that he would "write me up anyway."
Isn't this a plain and simple false charge? This was all recorded on tape at the jail. WHat can I do about it? Could it be a due process issue?
