    Default Legal Permanent Resident Deported

I entered the United States when I was a kid with my parents, and they got me the Legal Permanent Resident Status when I was about 12 years of age. Before I turned 18 I had commited a series of felonies so they waited till I turned 17 and took me to court and was sentenced to 20, but after 9 years got out. The immigration judge deported me and made me sign a paper that said I had always lived in the U.S. illegally all this time, which isn't true. 5 years have passed since I got out of prison and I haven't returned to the U.S. since, but I want to be able to go back and see my family, what is the process I should follow? Should I use a I 212 waiver? I still have my LPR card, can it still be valid? Do I need a lawyer to fix my situation?
    PLEASE ADVISE.

It sounds like your status as an LPR was revoked.

You may have the actual physical card still, but it's nothing more than a souvenir at this point.

Yes, you need a lawyer. You may have been banned for ten years after your deportation or, because you were convicted of multiple felonies, you may have been perma-banned.
