Indiana Emancipation Law

I need some help i want to know is there anyway i can get emancipated cause my whole life has been nothing but depression and fights with my whole family and i want out so far i been put in a mental house for about 10 weeks i need out badly i live in indiana my mom doesnt even know what she is doing she yells at me for everything i do plus when i was younger she would always beat on me for anything i did but now that she has a husband she spends all her money on him the money that she does spend on him its from my child support right now i sit in the cold sick and shes just out spending my child support ive asked her for so many years to get help and she doesnt like now she is hearing angels and stuff i dotn know what to do she is so evil and i have been in so much counciling that it doesnt work any more and when i was in that mental house for the 10 weeks i felt so much better to get away from her and my family if someone could help me i will be so greatful if you need to contact me my email is freakyromantic2233@hortmail.com

Indiana has no emancipation statute, but it may nonetheless be possible to convince a juvenile court to grant emancipation where the court finds:

1. The petitioning minor wishes to be free from parental control and protection and no longer requires control and protection;

2. The petitioning minor understands the consequences of being free from parental control and protection

3. The petitioning minor has sufficient money for the child's own support; and

4. The petitioning minor has an acceptable plan for independent living.

Without a statute to reference, it is difficult to gauge what a judge might deem sufficient as a basis for emancipation. An Indiana family lawyer may be able to advise you.
