    Default Abandoning Asylum Application And Marrying A Green Card Holder

    Dear all

    I would like to seek advise from you about my status in USA. I cam to USA in a student visa and I applied for Asylum in USA my asylum is still in process, in this case can i marry a Green Card holder? and being a legal in USA? I still have my valid visa which expired on april 2009 but i think my previous college have made me out of status already.

    I would be thnakful to u if u can advise me accordingly in this matter.

    You seem to be saying that you're in status, out of status, and have an application for asylum pending, all at the same time. Please clarify your status.
