Default If My BF Is 18 And I'm 16 And I Get Pregnant, Can He Get Arrested If We Get Married?

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Illinois

I am pregnant and i'm desprate to get emancipated. I just found out that if i legally get married, its automaticlly emancipation. is that true. also, my fiancee' is 18 and i'm almost 16. when we tell my mom about the baby, if we can talk her into letting us get married (how does that work?) can he legally still get in trouble for satatory rape?

No marriage will not save him unless you get pregnant on your wedding night. Just so you if you have already had sex or sexual contact hes already a criminal

Getting married does not make previously illegal acts suddenly and miraculously legal. Sorry, but he can still end up in jail.

Fact she is already with child makes everything too late. Your Doctor is a mandated reporter. This means he is to report fact you are pregnant to authorities. If its not already known who is your Bf it wont take long to find out. Then he will go to prison and spend lifetime registering as sex offender. This will make the chance of ever holding a decent job or career almost zero. Congrats you and you rpedophile BF has successfully ruined three lives, his, yours and, your unborn
