My question involves criminal law for the state of: Missouri

I'm 22 years old and got cought stealing at a local grocery store about a week ago. They caught me by a man who looked to be a shopper. When they caught me they told me to empty my bag, and sit down as they called the police. They took a picture of me with everything and had me sign a sheet saying I was banned from the store. When the police officer came, he searched my bag...I didnt have ID or anything else in the bag, other than a box cutter...don't ask I don't know why it was in there. The cop proceeded to cuff me and arrest me where they took me to the station. They took me in filled out paper work, finger printed and took my picture. I was very cooperative. They gave me my summons for court and released me. All in all I'd say it wasn't over 100.00 worth of merchandise but maybe over 50.00. What could I be facing? Do you think its possible to get a fine and community service instead of jail time or probation? If I hire a lawyer could he get me that? What do you think I could be sentenced with? I also just found out I was pregnant--do judges ever show mercy on pregnant woman? Is there anything I can do for a lesser sentence? I'm already working on a letter of apology to the store manager. This is my first offence nothing else at all on my record, just me using very bad judgement...please help any advice would make me feel better.
