Default Domestic Violence, Firearms Ownership, And Pardons

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ohio

I plead guilty to Domestic Violence in Ohio in Sept of 1994 and then in Oct 1994 I was arrested for Petty Theft but plead out to Unauthorized Use of Property (which I believe is a minor misdemeanor). My question is, can I get the Domestic Violence cleared from my record or pardoned some how so I will be able to own a firearm again? I plead guilty because it was easier and cheaper than a trial. Of course 2 years later the Lautenberg Amendment goes into effect and then I was unable to own a firearm.
