Default Stopping A Support Order With Arrears

My question involves child support in the State of: New York

I have been paying child support order that has arrears. The (2) children involved no longer live with their mother and will be 21 years old next month. Can the order be stopped and arrangements be made (civil) strictly for arrears?

Default Emancipation and Arrears in Texas

I have been paying child support since my divorce in 1989 and was actually told by the AG that I owed a years worth of arrears since I was making more money the year before. She is now sueing me for the arrears. Does my child support stop completely after he graduates?
