Default How To Remove An Estate Attorney

My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: RI

There are two people named as co-executors on the will, the estate attorney (who is also the attorney for the co-executor on other matters outside the estate) is providing information to that co-executor and not the other co-executor. Is there a way to have the estate attorney removed and have the court appoint someone even if only one of the executors is in agreement?

Petition the court for removal, or to substitute a different lawyer as attorney for the estate. Will you win? We don't have the facts to even guess.

    Mr. Knowitall,

Thank you for your response. In your experience have you ever been involved in petitioning the court for an estate attorney's removal? If you have would you be able to provide specific examples of what the estate attorney did that would justify his/her removal by the courts?

    Thank you.
