Question Do I Accept Temporary Employment

My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Florida
I am 8 weeks post op for rotator cuff surgery and have a 5 pound weight
limit on affected side. My employer does not want me back yet. I have
physical therapy 3 times weekly and do physical therapy at home 3 times
daily. The insurance company has arranged for me to work at a charity
job starting next week. They call it, "Temporary Transitional Employment."
Am I required accept this? Will this affect my benefits?

Default Re: Do I Accept Temporary Employment

If you are able to work and turn down work, that's generally grounds to reduce (and perhaps eliminate) your benefits for lost wages.
