My question involves criminal law for the state of: North Hollywood, CA
Please help. My son was caught shoplifting a video game at a retail store. He was detained and booked. After a parent was not in time to pick him up from the retail store, he was released to the LAPD and delivered back to his school. He was issued a citation for shoplifting from LAPD and issued a court date on the signed form. What happens now, is there a chance this can be erased from his minor record. He is a great kid who made a stupid mistake? My husband and I are worried he may not be able to get a job as well??? Please help.
