    Default Shoplifting

My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York.

Hi. I was taken in by mall security yesterday for shoplifting. Police weren't called, but I had to sign a waiver (not to come back to the store/mall) and pay a restituion fee. They also found other items (from other stores) in the bag, but the security from those stores, never came to me, while I was being detained. What happens now? I was released from the store that caught me, but what about the other stores??

In most places, they have a year to file charges.
