    Default 3rd Degree Theft

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: washington

    hi i got cought stealing bird house and some lotion at a street fairn after midnight one night i got 3rd degree theft what should i do i told the police at the scen that i was guilty so what kind of penilty will i face for this this would be frist no criminal history im 21 and the items was under 250 $

    It is a gross misdemeanor, punishable up to 1 year in jail and/or by a fine that does not exceed $5,000.
