    Default Old I-94 Expired

    Hi,

I entered USA in December, 2006 with H1B visa with Company A. The I-94 was valid until January 2008. However, during 2007, I accepted a job from Company B and transferred my H1B visa, and recieved new I-94 with I-797. On the new I-94 there is no date. I was wondering if I am legally staying in USA right now as my old I-94 expired. Also, can I renew my H1B visa on my passport in USA (it is currently showing Company A as my sponsor).

    Thanks in advance.

You'll need to check with the USCIS office in your area.
