My question involves civil law for the state of:
After being put under pressure for sales, I twice made register errors which allowed customers to get lower prices. I insisted that I asked and no one seemed to know when the price came up wrong. So later LP drilled me and got a written statement and fired me. Now I received a civil demand letter from an out of state attorney saying I shoplifted and to please pay 700 dollars or payments.
Should I ignore this, call to negotiate, or wait and see. Since I dont have the job, I dont have the money...
