    Default Terminated Unlawfully

Hi my girlfriend was working at Shoppers Drug Mart, she had a new manager who really didnt know what she was doing so she asked my girlfriend a part time employie, to help he with processing a gift card so they went to all the tills attempting by typing in the upc number, the customer got annoyed and didnt want it anymore once they figuredout they had 2 scan it and did, so they had 2 cancel the transaction, so long story short

they have her on film doing this but there is no proof of her taking the customers money/gift Card kuz the customer never paid so the tape shows nothing basically - but she wasnt suppost 2 be on the supervisors till but she only was because the supervisor asked her to?

ok so they now say she stole the money n card but why then when the manager did the nightly balance everything was there ¿ and all of a sudden a fue days later they are accusing her of this and now have fired her.

the thing that makes the least sence is that a fue days earlyer they gave her a 50 doller card for being such a good employie why would she go n steel one a fue days later ? ... I dont understand

PS I believe her 100% without a dout because i worked there and quit because some of the managers were such dam ass for lack of a better word ? ..... So i kno this is bull

Final question - can she get her 2 week severance pay etc. and what if they decide to press charges ... like wtf ? help me plz :?: :?:

It sounds like your girlfriend was an at-will employee, who can be terminated for almost any reason - including suspicion of theft.
