Default Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor vs. Contributing to Delinquency

My buddy and I have been getting into a debate on which charge is considered a "higher" charge. Example: If somebody were to be charged with both of these and the DA agreed to drop one charge if you plead to another, which is the better charge to plead to? We live in Michigan.

    Charge 1

Section 750.145 Minor; contributing to neglect or delinquency

    or

    Charge 2

Section 436.1701 Selling/Furnihsing Alcohol to Minor

    Thanks!

Default Re: Which Charges Is Worse?

It would depend on which section a person is being charged under in Section 436.1701 Selling/Furnihsing Alcohol to Minor. (could be a misdemeanor or a felony)

You can compare it to Section 750.145 Minor; contributing to neglect or delinquency. (which is a misdemeanor)
