My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Washington
My girlfriend was driving behind me while I was on my baseball team's bus. We were in Federal Way about to merge onto Highway 18 in the left turn lane. My girlfriend saw the light turn a yellow arrow so she switched to the left most lane while the bus stayed in the right lane. She didn't have to speed up in order to catch the light and she switched into the lane before the intersection. The bus didn't see her switch lanes and then cut across the intersection and into her lane, causing her to crash into the bus. There was no cop there for any proof. But after interviewing witnesses who said it was the bus' fault, he gave my girlfreind a ticket for "illegal lane change". Is this worth fighting in court? Because the policemen was not even there to see it.
