Question Renter Eviction After Foreclosure Auction Nevada

My question involves a foreclosure in the State of: Nevada

Please help! I have been renting a home for 4 years and found out that last Thursday, it was auctioned due to foreclosure. The home has gone back to the bank and I cannot get anyone to talk to me. I tried calling Chase who holds the mortgage and they won't talk to me without the landlords written permission (even though Chase owns the home now???). I have left messages with the foreclosure attorney, who will not return my calls. We are in the process of buying a house, but will not be able to close until the 2nd week of May. I don't want to have to move my things twice in a few weeks period and find a place for us to live (including my two dogs) for a few weeks. I've called Nevada Legal Services which suggested I talk with Chase to see if we can stay in the house for a few weeks. Help...I can't get anyone to talk to me. I need to know how much time I have and who I can talk to.

You MIGHT have a little time.

The new owner (the bank, it appears) has the right to begin eviction proceedings now, but it looks like it's going to take a little time. Perhaps just enough to let you only move once.

The new owners need to first serve you with a 30 day notice to leave. After that, if you're not out, they need to file a 5 Day Unlawful Detainer. If you're still not gone after that, they need to file a Summary Eviction.

This site says the whole process takes about 45 calendar days from when you're served the first notice.

Although I make no promises, there's a chance the bank will offer "cash for keys", money in return for your leaving the premises in good condition when you leave.

Thank you for your help! I actually received a letter in the mail last night that did indeed offer me "cash for keys". Depending on when we close, we will get between $1500 and $500. But, either way, we will only have to move once. I really don't care about the money. I just didn't want to have to move all my stuff twice.
